Formerly The Artist’s Den, Visual Talks are being scheduled at this time, with several dates in January and February 2011 set.
Visual Talks are social gatherings to talk about art. We hold Visual Talks Critiques where artists critique and talk about each other’s works and forums to present information about yourself as an artist, or an area of knowledge and interest in art related topics. Some topics include Art Professionalism and Business Practice, Art History and Contemporary Themes, and Art Technique and Methodology. Presentations, conversations and critiques are informal.
Appetizers are served. Attendees may purchase a beverage of their choice.
Location mainly at Ushers House in Moorhead on 1st Avenue North at 7:00pm in the lower level.
First date of each month is a presentation/topic to discuss.
Second date of each month is a Visual Talks Critiques where artists bring 1-2 works of art for others to critique/talk about. You don’t have to have artwork, just show up and talk about art.
