A photograph by photojournalist and FMVA member Ann Arbor Miller of Fargo has been accepted for inclusion in the “Woman As Photographer: Documenting Life As A Woman” exhibit at the Mpls Photo Center in Minneapolis.
Miller’s photograph – titled “Like Mother, Like Daughter” – was among submissions by women photographers representing 14 countries and 25 U.S. states. These photographs demonstrate a smart and critical take on women with cameras in this day of a more open and subtle notion of gendered identity.
“Woman As Photographer” was curated by Christina Chang, assistant curator at the Weisman Art Museum in Minneapolis. The exhibit features 125 contemporary photographs. Admission to the exhibit, which remains on display until April 17, is free and open to the public.
