RRWS Valentine’s theme for Tuesday’s meeting 2/9/10

Our talented artists had the Valentine’s Collage lesson and project lined up for last year’s meeting but it was snowed out. So cross fingers for this coming Tuesday! We will meet at First United Congregational in Moorhead and look forward to seeing you there!

We have so many exciting workshops and meetings coming up that 2010 is turning into a great year for our members and friends!

For Tuesday night, here is a list of materials to bring – the most important is a square of watercolor paper, and your normal painting equipment – the other items are for collaging with and we will share:

Scraps of watercolor paper
12×12 or 10x 10 watercolor paper
Pencils
Watercolor pencils
Masking tape
Water tubs
Glue or mat medium
Watercolor paints
Sponges
Paper towels
White paper to sketch
Napkins with theme example valentines, leaves – these work very well
Rubber Stamps and embossing supplies for Valentines theme
Rice paper
Tissue paper
Famous quotes or inspirational sayings
Pictures, catalogs, ads, etc with Valentine elements on them
Craft brushes for glue
