Soup02 you are exactly right! The Cuture Pulse “contest” devalues the work of the very people they represent. Professional artists should avoid “contests” that ask them to work on the chance that they may get paid. No one works like that.

You have a website based on statewide artists / designers and are unable to contact one within the state for your project?

Instead they farm it out nationwide as a “Contest” that any respectable artist/designer should avoid.

Next time my sink breaks i am going to hold a “Contest” for the best plumber that can fix it……winner is the only one that gets paid for their time.
