Jonesin for Dan

Most of you are aware of the battle that fellow artist Dan Jones has been fighting since suffering from a brain aneurysm in April. There will be a benefit during the Studio Crawl Oct 4 at the HoDo.

FMVA is one of the sponsors for an online benefit set up through the Dakota Medical Foundation Impact Giveback, on Dan’s behalf. Please forward this information to interested individuals. It is so easy to donate from anywhere online and every donation makes an impact!

MEDICAL CRISIS: Dan suffered an aneurysm on April 7, 2009. He was airlifted to the University of Minnesota hospital where he stayed until May 1st. After a month at MeritCare, Fargo, he was admitted to a skilled nursing facility specializing in brain trauma rehabilitation located in Mandan, ND. Due to the severity of his injury, Dan has not been able to work as a landcape artist. The family has substantial medical and dislocation expenses, in addition to household expenses.

FUNDRAISING EFFORT: On October 4th, from 4:00 to 10:00 pm at the Hotel Donaldson, Fargo, “Jonesen for Jones” tickets will be sold for $10. The event will include a silent auction of art items, food, and live music.
